1. Board of Pharma Starts Complaint Inspections

  • Last week, Axios reporter Torey Van Oot tweeted that the “MN Board of Pharmacy says it's received 14 complaints related to hemp-derived THC products since edible legalization law took effect July 1” but is not sharing any details because “they are ‘active open complaints and considered confidential data.’”

    ⏪ Memory Rewind: Shortly after the new help-derived THC law went into effect in July, the Board of Pharma published a form on its website by which anyone can file a complaint against a cannabinoid product manufacturer, distributor, or retailer. Per the Board’s website, “[t]he information provided in the complaint will be reviewed and may lead to an investigation of the entity/entities that are the subject of this complaint, as well as possible enforcement by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy, local law enforcement, and other state agencies with jurisdiction over these products.”
